Frisian mare Mariska opens doors

The Friesian mare, Mariska (F: Feitse 293 Pref.t, M: Leffert 306 Pref.), opens feed bins and doors which have different mechanisms and bolts in different positions. She seems to understand bolt mechanisms as she tries different options to open the bins and doors. Mariska is kept in individual stabling. It is not known whether stable mates have adopted her behaviour.
